Frequently asked questions

At stephaniedukes.org, we believe in open communication and ensuring you feel comfortable and informed. Our journey began with a commitment to providing compassionate, faith-integrated, and evidence-based counseling. We prioritize your well-being and are dedicated to guiding you toward healing, hope, and wholeness. Here, you'll find answers to common questions about our services and what you can expect from your counseling experience.

How does counseling work with stephaniedukes.org?

Our first session is an introduction and information session. Counseling usually lasts six weeks, but it can vary from individual to individual. Parents can be involved in counseling with their children, but depending on the issues, we ask parents to trust us with their children so they can be as open as possible. It is best to have both partners in marriage counseling, but you don't have to.

What should I know before contacting you or booking an appointment?

Curiosity is okay. By all means, call to have your questions answered, but once you sign up for our services, be ready to work. Success is only a decision away!

Are there common myths about counseling that you'd like to clarify?

You are not weak because you seek counseling. You don't have to tell the counselor all your business. We don't pry; we work with you at your own pace. Counseling is confidential.
